The hostels had double bed bunks which meant there was a lot...

The hostels had double bed bunks which meant there was a lot of space. The beds were also very comfortable. 24 hour front desk meant that you can enjoy your evening out and someone will always be there to let you in.

Good price, easy atmosphere

Quiet place, swimming pool, nice easy going staff. The price is great for what you have. AC in the room is a life saver.

There were a few more people in the room than announced, but it was quiet, you could put blankets and pretty much have privacy so it was OK.

The A/C in the room was good.

Internet only worked in the main common area not the room. Room was packed ! We were meant to have a four bed dorm.. instead had a room with nine bunks, double beds on the top and bottom. We had a top bed. The bottom sheet had not been changed or the pillow cases. There were stains on it and hairs from the previous guest. We slept in our sleeping bag liners. We only had one night and it was too late to move. As soon as we could the next morning we got out. The bathroom was also very dirty. We chose not to shower due to this and waited until we got to our new accommodation the next day. No lock on the room door but there were lockers - bring your own padlock and key. Also there was a hole in the wall of the room and random wires hanging down from the roof.. unsure if that is safe?

The hostel was dirty and staff are inattentive. Air conditioning didn't turn on till 9pm and there aren't any fans around the hostel, and in this heat that's needed.

Está bien ubicado, muy cerca de un chedraui. Aunque un poco lejos de la playa, a unos 30min andando.

El vater de la habitación femenina no funcionaba, la ducha perdía agua y no salía caliente. Los trabajadores no hacían ni caso, hasta la hora de dormir no nos dieron las sabanas para la cama y por las noches (a las 11) ponían música muy alta y molestaba

me gusto que lo que vi en la pagina sobre el alojamiento era lo que en realidad era lo que ne relaidad esperaba todo muy limpio y me trataron muy bien

me gustaria que dejaran en claro a las personas lo que es en realidad un hostal ya que me tope en una situacion donde una persona se molesto solo porque estaba asiendo mi maleta para tomar el avion estaba ya dormida pero eso es u hostal donde se encuentran mas personas y no porque eres la unica persona con sueño se va a molestar

No era lo que esperábamos.

El Hostel cuenta con una linda alberca, una cocina amplia y varios baños. Cuenta con un living con un gran televisor con netflix. Hay aire acondicionado. Posee un amplio patio. Tan solo a una cuadra hay un gran supermercado. El personal era amigable, principalmente la chica de limpieza.

En primer lugar nos costó encontrar la entrada del lugar, tuvimos que buscarlo en Google maps, la entrada era un portón de metal sin ningún cartel. El Hostel está ubicado en una zona muy oscura por la noche, en frente de un terreno baldío. Cuando hicimos el check in nos dijeron que no teníamos desayuno incluído siendo que cuando reservamos por Internet el desayuno si estaba incluído. Cuando ingresamos a las habitaciones no eran lo que esperábamos, de hecho se veían más oscuras y sus camas más pequeñas que en las fotos, mido 1,90 m y no entraba en la cama. La ventilación no era buena, solo contaba con una ventana pequeña para la cantidad de personas que se albergaban en el cuarto, por lo que se sentía mal olor. Habían 10 camas, todas ocupadas y en algunas habían dos personas en el mismo colchón. Todos los que estaban allí eran muy desordenados y algunos irrespetuosos con las horas de descanso ya que volvían tarde, encendían las luces y hablaban fuerte. Tampoco eran higiénicos y dejaban sucios los baños. A pesar de que esto último es una crítica hacia quienes se hospedaban no había nadie que se encargara de controlar esas cosas. En cuanto a la higiene del lugar: todo lucía desordenado, descuidado y sucio. Si esto no era suficiente, al siguiente día llegamos por la noche y no había corriente electrica, nos encontramos con el portón eléctrico abierto sin que nadie controlara la entrada y salida de huéspedes. Por este motivo no funcionaban las luces de los baños, las habitaciones no tenían aire acondicionado, la heladera estaba apagada y no recibimos ningún tipo de beneficio frente a este inconveniente (algún descuento, un trago gratis, un desayuno, lo que fuere). Cuando subimos las sábanas no se habían cambiado. Para poder llegar a la playa hay que caminar aproximadamente 15 cuadras. De noche no es recomendable transitar la avenida Juárez ya que los locales cierran temprano y todo se vuelve oscuro.

Yo considero que el ambiente era muy como estar en casa.

El hotel es bueno sin embargo tienen que poner mucha atencion a los desperfectos que les restan puntos aparte de que quisa tambien les ahorraria gastos. En el cuarto donde nos hospedamos la regadera se regaba y toda la noche cayendo gotas que sonaban muy desesperantes. Siento que deberian de darle un poco de mantenimiento a sus paredes y fachadas pero por el.precio pues es entendible. Aunque el ambiente de las personas que estan ahi es super padre la verdad tienen muy buena relacion!

Justo por el precio

El precio es justo para lo que se obtiene, las camas tiene enchufes individuales y luz de lectura, así como cortinas para mas privacidad, la alberca le da un plus a la estancia y la televisión con Netflix

El lugar esta muy desordenado sobre todo en las habitaciones y la limpieza dejaba un poco que desear pues había malos olores en las habitaciones.

No hay candado para los lockers, estaría bien que hay mismo te prestarán uno, además no hay un letrero con el nombre del hostal, fue algo difícil encontrarlo.

El precio del alojamiento. Para el precio que aboné los servicios son más que suficientes. La amabilidad del chico de la recepción.

Clean place, friendly staff, great meeting place

Very clean. The staff (thank you Lalo, Nico, Ciça, and Dori) kept the place clean, mopping and cleaning floors in rooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room, and patio daily. Availability of a fridge and 2 electric camper stoves. Lockers next to women’s only door (I did not check the other floor). Excellent place to meet people from all over the world. Bottled water and coffee (+ sugar) available all day long. Secure, access via locked gate. Very sturdy bunk beds in women’s dorm were double size (apparently cheaper if you share with a friend), they all had black curtains for privacy and blacking out some light. Toilet paper available and soap dispenser near sink. Music was played during the day and evening but it was nice and quiet at night! Comfy bed with bedsheet and 2 pillows. Air conditioning was available (but we did not always turned it on). Definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be back one day!

Shower Water was sometimes very cold - no breakfast included as advertised on Booking.com (but there is a huge grocery store steps away) - 10 minute walk to the beach (if you think that is far...) - hard to find at first, no sign outside. (The neighbour helped, it is behind the Chedraui, white wall with brown gate. - early mornings were a bit cold, I needed a blanket (I used my winter jacket as cover)

Unforgettble

Best hostel in Playa del Carmen! Large comfy beds with curtain for privecy, equipped kitchen, a pool and a bar, tv with Netflix, showers are great. Everything's clean and taken care off. People are amazing. Even if you're not a Spanish speaker you'll be welcome here. So cheap for what you get!! If I'll come back to Playa this for sure is my hostel.
